Wiring
It’s hard to know where to start, in terms of reassembly. But installing the wiring loom seemed sensible. Until, that is I realised it came with no instructions, and there were no immediately obvious diagrams of where it went in the car. That said, like a lot of these things, it became pretty obvious once I started installing it. A two part harness round front to back, with the majority of wires coming in behind the dash.
How hard can it be?!
A separate harness deals with the overdrive. I spent some time puzzling over this, until I realised there are actually two harnesses- one to the gearbox, and one to the switch on the steering column, and I’d only got one of them.
Thanks spent some time figuring out the two relays (one for the horn, one for the overdrive). Not least, because for a long time I couldn’t find a wiring diagram for the latter.
