Chassis
Having the body off revealed the chassis in quite a sorry state. 50 years of dirt and rust.
What seemed like it should be an easy job of stripping the suspension off, took far longer than anticipated. Lots of swearing, hitting and swearing again and finally it was off - albeit in big lumps that need a lot of refurbishment

Reinforced the diff hangers. The front right one had pulled out and needed replacing. Also boxed in the channel for strength.
Most of the strength, and most of the rot, in TR6 chassis is in the "T shirt". Cut off top and bottom and replaced. In the end it wasn't too bad
After much agonising I decided not to get the chassis powder coated. After blasting, I prepped it (looks dreadful as it reacts with and neutralises any rust). The coated with POR15. Pleased with the outcome.
